Can you believe that the Carroll Spinney who played Big Bird and Oscar in 1969 is still climbing into the Big Bird suit everyday, at age 75!!! This is a great article.
Its amazing, I watched it the other day with the Natapillar, for the first time since my youngest sister was a baby (very early 90's), and to see the same characters now that you grew up with in the 70's and 80's, just gave you that warm rush of familiarity. Even with the new additions and changes that have continued to ensure that it stays relevant to the times, its just continues to be a great show to watch
So Happy Birthday to Sesame Street, heres to continuing to entertain and teach for many more generations to come!
