Where did the last 3 weeks go? In a haze I tell you, a haze!
What has been happening with me? Well sick me, sick child (thanks daycare germies), too many birthdays, too much everything, and a whole lot of not enough sleep I tells ya!
Motivation which was at an amazing all time high, crumbled to an all time low, and I have really discovered that if I dont menu plan, we really dont eat as well, and considering I want these pesky last 20kg outta here, thats not a good thing.
Lots of things going on, work is finally a little busy, which stops me procrastinating and I get more done. I have had a few good chats with my manager about my role and am quite happy about where it is all headed in the future, what ever the outcome I know my job is secure, and has a few different options open to me :)
Yesterday my mum rang up and anounced out the blue that she is moving to QLD at the end of the year. She needs a change apparently :( Being a selfish sulky sad sack at the moment (not as bad as my sister though who has decided that if mum sells they house they better want a tenant because she isnt moving), but looking on the upside it does mean I will get to see all of the gorgeous Brisvegas girls way more often, which does make me very happy! :)
In other news, the Natapillar needs grommets :( Have a specialist appointment on the 28th so will find out what the deal with it is at that stage, but probably nothing until she is 2. Its funny that since she has had her hearing tested I can really see where she is missing things that I though she could hear. I can also see that she gets words confused that sound alike (eg. toes vs nose), not sure if thats her ears or just her age though.
SJ had his 30th birthday last week and apparently I am the best wifey in the world. Im sending him on a course to learn to drive a rally car next month :) He gets to drive 2 out of a choice of 4 cars - Holden or Ford V8 Rally Ute, Mitsubishi Evo or WRX...decisions decisions. I also made a devine Choc Orange Mudcake with Jaffa Ganache Icing, topped with shaved 70% dark choc lindt...droooooool
Ooops....still need to get my license replaced from the wallet being stolen....better get onto that. I am currently ID-less!!
